I think, too many documents not required. The US Embassy in Delhi asks for:
If you have a sponsor for your trip
-- An Affidavit of Support, I-134 Form from your sponsor (a close relative), and also their bank statements and employment letter
-- A copy of the passport of your sponsor in the U.S. Preferably, a copy of the relative's Indian passport, if possible
-- Documents to show the sponsor's legal status in the U.S.

Just like EAD filing, one can send as many documents as required, but I sent only things asked in e-filing (refer to http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showthread.php?t=18737).

I asked IV core on what version of immigration bill they support because I and other people wanted to know since there are so many amendments to the current immigration bill and Now I log in to see , the thread is missing, why, my question was straight forward, again I am asking them on what form of immigration bill they support. I highly doubt In what they are doing looks like they are working for the benefit of them self. Guys please don�t be ignorant and its your right to ask the question don�t be a dumb crowd but ask questions.
I am too in the same GC queue with I140 and I485 filed and pending, so don�t count me as anti � immigrant but also want to see the betterment of others too who are in GC process and will be effected due to the introduction of the new bill.

What was the status on USCIS online system when you got an RFE? The reason I am asking is today my status changed to "Document Mailed to the Applicant". Not sure whether this is an approval or RFE. Of course will know in few days.

Sundar - I understand ur question..I ve seen in many forums that employers can revoke ur I-140 before ur I-485 is approved. When you transfer with ur approved I-140 from ur previous employer and lets say that he has already revoked it..I am not sure what will happen the..just wanted to confirm...

"using approved 140 from an EX-employer" and using that to a get 3 yr extension when doing a h1b transfer to a new employer (who has not in anyway started a new perm labor)

Myy EAD is expiring and Renewal is taking more than 1 year as per new processing times.
Can I switch back to H1-B. I am in EAD and I dont have any H1-B status now. I have used 5 1/2 years of h1B previously. Six years is not utilized
What are pros and cons..

As per my understanding , as long as you file for renew your EAD before the expiry you are in status , so why do you want to go back to H1??

To be able to file EB2 the position has to belong to O*net zone 5. For instance if you are an engineer, open the link http://online.onetcenter.org/find/result?s=engineer&g=Go and click over the engineering that mostly suits you. If that position is job zone 4 then it is EB3 if it is job zone 5 then it is EB2. Then you have to check the salary for the area where you work, if your basic salary is superior to the minimum (level 1) of the position then you are fine.
Though I don't know anything about the zone 5 requirement, judging by the vast majority of H1b jobs there are, very few are qualified zone 5. Thus there would have been very few EB2 filing (PERM or the other)
This is not evidenced by what I have seen on many forums, or people that I know that filed for EB2 and then had it approved.

H1B is always portable to new employer and if the basis of extension is pending GC application at any stage with other employer - thats perfectly fine.
What you do is, get H1B transfer to new employer and start your PERM with them ASAP so that,
either your PERM may be pending for more than a year before your H1B expires,
OR
you get new I-140 (if date current you get EAD if not you get another 3 year on H1B)
- I have done it myself in H1 7th year with pending LC so my situation was worse than your

If you don�t want to go out of USA then you can apply for change of status to change from L1b to H1 or you can go out of USA and get H1b stamping done.

Its nice to see teachers on this forum. I came on H1 through the company GTRR. You can get their contact number from their site.I wanted to ask Sirvi that how about working with an NGO. Did you file your GC under EB2. I filed mine under EB3. Please tell me something about it.

I was eligible for EB-2 but as company wouldn't file any case in EB-2.
My lawyer suggests the best way to get it faster is to apply for a new EB-2 (fm a new company) and go for consular processing. I am still researching that option.

I got a couple of emails from USCIS yesterday stating that they have sent notices requesting additional evidence/information on our I-485 applications. My priority date is October 2006 (EB3) and I am not sure why I would get a RFE now. Has anybody with a similar priority date get a RFE too?
I will let you guys know what was requested in the RFE as soon as I get it.
RFE can be issued even though your priority date is not current. This is because USCIS is processing the case and keeping it ready (pre-adjudicate) to issue GC when dates get current.
